Baking Christmas Cookies

Baking Christmas cookies has always been something the Mouse and I have done. This year has been especially tough because JuJu wants to help, which is more work than anything. I spend the entire time telling her to quit screaming and Mouse to quit antagonizing her. No fun for me! Plus with C-man's food issues we can't do it unless he is sleeping because he eats everything that is dropped. So here is a picture of Mouse doing some baking that we snuck in during one of JuJu's rare naps!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am so thankful for many things this year. Mainly my family and friends, J is doing so great with our business. School is almost over for him, keep him in yours prayers next month he has two test he has to pass in order to become a fireman and for us to be able to move back to CA. We love and miss everyone and can't wait to be closer to home! Have a great thanksgiving!

Timeout!!!

C-man has discovered climbing he climbs EVERYTHING! Including almost over the gates in the house, be still my heart!!!
He is such a ham! If you laugh he thinks it is because he is laughing or being funny! What joy! Figured out the timeout chair the other day, as you can see he had way to much fun and doesn't get the purpose. Of course big brother (or big bubba as JuJu calls him) and big sis were jealous and had to be in on the fun! Little bubba (as JuJu calls him, too funny!) got butted off the chair!

Pony rides!!!

The kids went to a birthday party over the weekend. They had a blast all of them had their first pony ride!!! Mouse looks like he should have been on a horse, I can not believe how tall he is now!!! JuJu of course looks way to pretty to be riding and C-man LOVED it.

The Karate Kid

Mouse had his first Karate lesson today. He did really well and advanced to the second level. He received his first stripe! Or as he would call it he graduated! Don't you love the serious look on his face!

NEWS

So after much discussing and researching, J and I have decided to homeschool Mouse for at LEAST the next year. We are giving it a one year trial run. I spent all of this morning at the schools unenrolling him and signing affidavits that I would be homeschooling him. He is really excited. We are going to sign him up for a homeschooling group that meets during the week to play with other kids, he will be learning Spanish and doing at least one extra activity, (karate, or swimming) Wish us luck over the next year, we are very excited to be doing this, we feel that Mouse will learn so much more from us than in a public school environment, and will have the added benefit of not being around all the kids that could possibly teach him things we DON'T want him to learn!!

JuJu's 1st day of ballet

JuJu started ballet/tap yesterday. She loved it! Unfortunately the parents sit behind a glass wall so I was not able to get pictures of her while she was learning. But took this picture right before she headed in. She was SO excited!!!!!

Labor Day Weekend

So everyone always seems to have huge plans for labor day, we always do something last minute. This year we are trying to find some where to camp! Wouldn't you know that everywhere I called today was booked or would not take bookings unless it was 4 days in advance!!! Some said yes we have spots but it is to late to reserve them! What the heck is that! So wish us luck/say a little prayer that we don't end up disappointing the monsters!!!
We went to a place called Cabela's last Sunday after church to have lunch while there we walked around the store and checked out gear.
Mouse discovered hunting/guns! I have spent the last 6 almost 7 years refusing to let him have a toy gun and bam in one outing he is obsessed! When J mentioned camping in the woods to Mouse he got all fired up "YEAH!!!!...okay but we have to go by me a huntin' gun Dad, I gonna need it to shot the bears!" Go figure on the aiming for the sky!!!! Can't go hunting for anything little can he!!!! Nope he wants to hunt BEARS!!!!! YIKES what the heck is happening to my baby!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! Sometimes I think J has to be thinking were the heck did you come from!! He likes tball/ baseball but has NO interest in other sports. He is a monster truck, nascar, dirt bike, quad racing you name it! and now hunting fanatic!!!! Goodness gracious!! How opposite from your parent can you be! But on the other hand he is extremely anal like me tends to be shy like... NO I wasn't going to say me!!!... have no idea where that came from! Likes to read and is obsessed with anything electronic! WHO KNEW! Hope you all have a great holiday weekend! I got a new video camera yesterday, have been borrowing Mom's since JuJu's birth and it finally kicked the bucket (sorry Mom :( Will post pictures next week when we get back! Preschool

JuJu started preschool again last week. She is in a at home school again, I really like that for her because she is so young. Seems to like it a lot. The first day she cried for a few minutes but she knows 3 of the 10 kids that are there so that helped! She is having a blast, she has learned two nursery rhymes! Hickory Dickory Dock and Jack be Nimble. She is so darn cute when she recites them!!! (They get a treat when they can recite them for their teacher!) Video camera kicked the bucket so I HAVE to get a new one soon, definitely before the boys b-day party!!! C-man is almost walking took 6 steps today! "Can't wait" for that (NOT!) Today he decided that he wanted to have some Cinnamon Life to eat and dumped the whole box on the floor. He also had the pleasure of eating kitty food today! Mouse left the dry food on the floor of the pantry after feeding the cat! YUCK!!!!

C-man's new diapers

So I got my new diapers in doesn't C-man look adorable!!! I really LOVE doing cloth for him! I wish I had known how easy it is these days! So glad it is Friday. Starting a car pool soon with a friend whose boys go to Mouse's school CAN'T wait!
